Well I am very disappointed. I sang the national anthem yesterday (Jan 26 2013) at a girl's basketball game in my school. Well I sucked, I think. I sang the first time and then I messed up and then I sang again. It was slightly better but still far from how I practiced. I was so disappointed I cried so much after. It just sucks when you practice so much and then all that comes out of that is failure.

But it's okay. I guess. When I went tomy friends they were all so freaking amazingly nice to me. They all said it was really good. But I was still disappointed. My friend said "You are your own harshest critic." That is very true. I can't get that out of my head. Was I really that bad? Why did I fail like that? What do these strangers think of me now? It's just confusing sometimes. 

However, I felt so much better. I decided to hangout with my friends after the game.They helped me so much. I just forgot about the whole situation. I freaking love my friends and my family.

Yayyysss. I was finally able to audition for the play on Tuesday! (Jan 22 2013) It was really not as bad as I thought it was going to be :D I was about to back out when I signed up for the play. Thank you so much to my sister for being able to really push me into doing this. I was feeling so scared and nauseated when I was listening to the drama teacher talk. However, she still encouraged me and was there during the whole thing.  (Lol so cliche) My sister even did the guy parts just to practice with me. She also gave me tips on how to do my expressions and such. Once I started practicing the script I felt really good. My "acting instincts" I guess kicked in.

I haven't acted in soo long. I stopped acting when I moved from the Phils. to the US. That was about 3-4 years ago. Since then, I haven't been able to act to an actual audience. Doing this made me feel really great. Because I was brave enough to be able to audition, I think I'll be able to sing the national anthem on Friday. Hahah, it's a very distant comparison but still, I feel alot more confident in myself.

I tried this new project the other day with Marianne (in the pics) It was pretty fun. Just tiring because of all the wax all over the place. It's all good, though :)

 These pictures were taken from a long time agooo. Which was last year. I have gotten really interested in photography nowadays. I don't know why. I guess I just love capturing the moment. I want to keep that memory with just one picture. This might sound really reallyyyy cliche, but a picture is worth a thousand words. Even though these pictures aren't very artsy, I hope it'll get there. :D I'm hoping to be able to have a fairytale/fairy themed photoshoot with Lauraine and my sister. That will be fuuun.

It's Been a Long Time

Wooow I haven't written on here in so long. I miss it. In a way. I don't even know if anyone else reads these blogs but I really don't mind. I just wanna post stuff. However I want. :)

So yeahh, catching up on my life. lol. I really like going to school but it's so exhausting having to wake up early. I know alot of people don't say they like to go to school but idk..it's just fun talking to people, learning new things, etc. I just hate homework and complicated things. But hey, what's new. That's probably how every student thinks. oh welll :)

DANCE: Ahhh I love dancing but it can be exhausting. My school has a very prestigious dance team. They win all kinds of awards and things. I think I wanna join but then again I don't? Idk. Their type of dancing is so different from how I dance. They do twirls and splits, I do hip hop. Haahha, it's close to hiphop. If you wanna know how I dance, check out Jasmine Meakin on Youtube.

Anywaysss. I want to join because I want to do something worthwhile for once. But that's okay. I'm planning to join all sorts of things. I'll talk about those things later.

Speaking of tumblr, I think I'll be posting alot more on there and also on here. I want to look back here and see how weird I was. xD Including the way I type, the way I edit, etc. I hope blogspot will never closeee. If it does, I will cry. Just kidding, I don't cry. 

SAME PIC I know

Remember when I said I was going to join more things now. Well I'm singing the National Anthem in next Friday's game (Jan 25 2013). There are soooo many people, omygas. I want to say "I might" but I really want to do something different this year. I wish I can go through with this. I'm still scared though. We'll see :) I might post a blog after it happens.

Also, I want to join the school play. When I was younger, during my elementary years, I joined all the school plays and I (not to brag) was always one of the leading roles. So I guess I have potential? Still kinda scared, though. Auditions are on the 22nd and 23rd. I hope I can do it. It's the play "Much Ado About Nothing" by William Shakespeare, it's a comedy. The drama people did "The Crucible" last semester and I watched it. Looking at them made me miss the days where I would be able to act on stage. So because of that, I made up my mind to join the play. Me and my sister want to help with costumes and makeup, too. I hope we can :)

Speaking of making costumes, (Haha 2nd time) I've been really into sewing lately. My sister finally figured out how to use the sewing machine and I know how to work it now, too. :D I've been able to make all kinds of things from old clothes. :) (See below) I found a reallyyy cool thrift shop. It has alot of old clothes that are really cheap. They can range from 25cents to a dollar. Probably even less. I've gone out of there with bags of clothes, jeans, shirts, etc, costing me no more than $6. That's crazy. Pants I turned into a circle scarf

Oh yeah, I've been using no heat on my hair for the whole month of January. I want to keep this going, if i can, until the whole year is over. :D Thanks to youtuber beautyklove for having all sorts of ways to curl hair without heat. Hope my hair gets better from this break.
